10. Public Health – Health Policy, Economics and Finance
11. Public Health – Social Epidemiology
12. Health Administration
13. Hospital Administration
14. Habitat Policy and Practice
15. Disaster Management
16. Media and Cultural Studies
A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized University, in any discipline. Candidates pursuing and completing their final year degree examination by June 12, 2010 [except M.A. in Education (Elementary)] are also eligible to apply, provided they have no backlog in t he exams of previous years at the time of submission of application. For M.A. in Education (Elementary) the date for completion of the requirements of
their final year degree exams in May 15, 2010.
For programm es Sl. Nos. 10, 11, 12 & 13, only those who have completed graduati on can apply. Medical graduates doing their internship should complete it by June 12, 2010.
Officers deputed by the Central Government, State Governments and Autonomous organizations for any of t he 16 programmes have to appear for the written test and if qualified, appear for the personal interview, along with other candidates. Officials / teachers and Resource Persons applying for the M.A. in Education
(Elementary) programme will be selected through a suitable screening process comprising documentary evidence of interest and motivation for the programme or an interview.
Government of India norms will be applicable for admission of SC /ST/ OBC/Persons with Disability. TISS has limited hostel s eats now, but supports students to find accommodation closer to the institute. All SC, ST and OBC candidates can avail free Admission Test Orientation programme scheduled for 13 to 15th November in Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata or Mumbai.
