FICCI Higher Education Summit 2009 will be held between November 6 & 7, 2009 in Federation House, New Delhi, India. The main features of the Summit are Conference, Exhibition, One-to-One Meetings and Master Classes.

The Keynote Speaker for this year’s Summit is Prof Richard Levin, President, Yale University, USA. Other speakers include Professor Richard Levin, President, Yale University, USA; Shiv Nadar, Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer, HCL Technologies; Harsh Pati Singhania, Managing Director, JK Paper Ltd. and President, FICCI to name a few.

According to FICCI, the summit will consist of Institute-Industry Conclave on the topic of Higher Education Policy and dynamics of a Knowledge Economy. The Plenary Sessions will be held on ‘Innovation for augmenting Financial Viability and Affordability’ on the first day and the topic for the second day is ‘Global Competitiveness through Partnerships.’ A special plenary session will be held on ‘Sustainability/Climate Change Practices in Indian Institutions’. This session will be conducted by University of Yale.

More than 1000 students visited the Exhibition at the FICCI Higher Education Summit 2008 that was held on November 25 & 26, 2008 in New Delhi.
