This exam is held once a year generally in the month of May for recruitment to the posts of transmission executive in All India Radio/ Doordarshan.
Age: 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Essential: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent or a Diploma from national school of drama, New Delhi or Diploma from the film and television Institute of India, Pune or Diploma in sound Broad Casting
(ii) Desirable: (a) Ability to read and write and speak the stage language
(b) Knowledge of other regional language.
(c) Capability to undertake strenuous out door work.
Plan of the exam: This exam helds in two stages.
(i) Written Exam
(ii) Interview
Written Test:
i) General Intelligence 100 marks
(ii) English Language 100 marks
(iii) General Awareness with special reference to the cultural Heritage of India 200 marks
