The combined matric preliminary exam. is conducted by the staff selection commission for selecting candidates for the main exam for the following recruitments
(a) Clerks’ Grade
(b) Grade “D” stenographers
(c) Grade “C” Stenographers
The staff selection commission (SSC) conducts the combined Metric pre. Exam once a year generally in the month of September for the main exam for the above mentioned posts are held at the end of the year.
Age: Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed matriculation or equivalent.
Plan of Exam: In two parts pre and main
(i) Pre:
Part I – General Intelligence – 100 Marks Duration
Part II- General Awareness – 100 Marks 2 Hours
The question in all objective type and main exam is in descriptive type.
