Bank Clerical exam
The banking services Recruitment Boards invite applications for the following posts in the nationalised banks (including state bank of India) in respective regions:
(a) Clerk
(b) Typist (English)
(c) Steno (English)
(d) Agricultural Clerks
(e) Steno (Hindi)
(f) Typist (English and Hindi)
(g) Steno (English and Hindi)
(h) Clerk-cum-cashier
(i) Clerk-cum-godown keeper
(j) Data entry operators
(k) Telephone operators
Education Qualification:
(i) For the posts of clerks and typists:- Passed higher sec. examination with 10+2 pattern or bachelor’s degree of recognized university
(ii) For the posts of Stenographers, data entry operators, telephone operators:- Pass Secondary exam. of 10+2+3 pattern
(iii) For the posts of agriculture Clerks Pass the 10+2
Additional Qualification: Applicants for the posts of Typists and Stenographers must have proficiency in Typing and Shorthand with the following minimum speed.
Hindi Typing:- 25 w.p.m.
English Typing:- 30 w.p.m.
Hindi Shorthand:- 60 w.p.m. in Hindi Shorthand in addition to minimum Hindi Typing speed of 25 w.p.m.
English Shorthand:- 80 w.p.m. in English shorthand in addition to minimum English Typing speed of 30 w.p.m
Age: 18-26 Years
Plan of examination: The subjects of the written examinant on, the time allowed and the maximum marks for each subject will be as under
(a) Objective Tests
1. Reasoning 80 marks
2. Numerical Ability 80 marks
3. Clerical Aptitude 40 marks
4. English Language 50 marks
Duration 1½ Hours
(b) Descriptive Paper
1. Argumentative Questions 60 marks
Duration 45 minutes
