There are two types of Radiographers. These are Diagnostic Radiographers and Therapeutic Radiographer.
A diagnostic radiographer takes X-ray photographer of the patients. He knows how to photograph those particular part of patients body by handling the X-ray machines in such a manner that it helps the doctor in diagnosing the disease. He has to work under a medically qualified radiologist.
And Therapeutic Radiographer treats the patients by using X-ray, radium and radioactive isotopes for cure of diseases
Courses and Institutes:
1 year certificate course and diploma course in Radiography (X-ray Technician)
After - Pass matriculation or (10+2) with science many Institutes and colleges in our country, which offer these course.
