Architecture is the art or science of designing and building structure in their sociological, technological and environmental context in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations as well as requirements. An architects job is to plan, design, and supervise the construction of designed structures. He should be creative, imaginative, idealistic, and painstakingly original and above all have ability to sketch.
Job options lie in interior designing and decoration, graphics and commercial art, landscape architecture, industrial and product design, urban design, transport planning, environmental planning and also in freelancing different projects.
Students pass in 10+2/ higher sec. / intermediate or equivalent with physics, chemistry and maths are eligible for 4/5-year degree course
